  NBA legend Charles Barkley tore into 'Undisputed' host Skip Bayless for his take on Tom
  Brady and Bill Belichick. 
  
  During an appearance on 'The Dan Patrick Show' Friday, Barkley brought up a comment allegedly made by Bayless, in which the FS1 analyst claimed that, 'Bill [Belichick]
  only won championships because of Tom Brady.'
  
  The former-NBA-star-turned-broadcaster blasted Bayless for the 'asinine' take, insisting that the criticism of the legendary former Patriots coach 'ain't right' as Brady didn't play on defense or special teams. 
  
  
  
  He went on to question whether Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who has won three Super Bowls,
  would have that tally without Patrick Mahomes. 
  
  'We got so many idiots fools and jack***es on television now, everybody has to have a hot take,' Barkley ranted before

  'Let me tell you how stupid some of these guys are on television,' Barkley added as he transitioned into talking about his rival. 
  
  'You know how much I hate Skip Bayless. I hate him with every fiber.
  
  Sometimes he makes me want to gain weight back so I can hate him with even more weight.'
  
  'Why do you keep watching these shows?' Patrick interjected as Barkley continued to get riled up over Bayless. 
  
  'I don't watch these shows,' Barkley insisted. 'People send me these
  hot takes and I love going hard at people. Because to sit there and say, "Bill only won championships because of Tom Brady," that's stupid and asinine.
  Andy Reid's a great person, he's a great coach. But how many championships has he won without
  Patrick Mahomes? So stop trying to hate on Bill
  Belichick.
  
  'For some reason, people want to take shots at Bill. It ain't right.
  When you get on television, our job is to be fair and objective.
  And we got some clowns on television now who are like, "Belichick is overrated."
  Dude went to nine Super Bowls. There's nobody who went to nine Super Bowls who's overrated.'
  
  It is unclear when Bayless made the alleged comments but the analyst did recently brand Belichick 'smug,
  condescending, above it all'.

  Belichick took out a full page ad in this past Sunday's edition of the Boston Globe to thank fans of the team he coached for
  23 years.
  
  'There's obviously nothing wrong with it. But you just wondered why
  it didn't come sooner during his career,' Bayless said.
  
  'Because I didn't hear him ever gush like this.
  
  'And I was a student of Brady and Belichick. And Keyshawn,
  I know you know him, and I know you love him, and I know you socialized with him and had steak dinners with him and all that.
  I get that. I don't know him. I'm doing this from a distance.
  
  
  'But to me, from a distance, when I first read this, if I can use
  a Vanderbilt word, it came off as poignant to the point of being a little sad, because I wished
  he had given more of this back to the fans all those years when he led this league
  in arrogance.
  
  'And you know, and I know he led this league in arrogance, and he
  had a right to, because they were dominating the league.
  They were dynastic. But he was smug and he was condescending, and
  he was above it all until now.'
  
  Bayless then turned his attention to why Belichick hasn't been hired by any other teams in the NFL: 'So this is what I see.
  
  That over the last four years in New England, Bill Belichick,
  regarded as the GOAT coach by you and many others, went
  29 and 38 and made it to one playoff game at Buffalo in which he gave up 47 points and could not make Josh Allen's
  offense punt one time.

  Belichick recently departed the Patriots, a team he had led for 23 years to six Super Bowls
  
  
  
  
  
  Belichick's open letter in the Globe addressed the fans of the Patriots across New England
  
  'They scored every single time they had the football, either a field goal or a touchdown. And from there,
  he goes into the hiring cycle and he goes 0-for-7.
  
  
  'And clearly to me, and I told you this going in, so I'm not being a 20/20 hindsight hypocrite here,
  I didn't think anybody would hire him because he hasn't
  done enough lately.
  
  'He hasn't done enough without Tom Brady. He hasn't done enough
  with today's players, the younger generation of players.'
  
  This isn't the first time Barkley has taken shots at Bayless,
  poking fun at him on NBA on TNT, including one occasion in 2022 when he and Shaquille O'Neal mocked a debate between the rival host and Shannon Sharpe.
